You may always send and receive emails via an encrypted channel. In order to achieve it you need to:

1. Change your incoming or outgoing server to your server's name (eg. example.hostens.cloud). The exact name can be found in your Client area.

2. In your mail software enable SSL encryption for incoming or outgoing email and change ports:

  • SMTP: from 25 to 587

  • POP3: from 110 to 995

  • IMAP: from 143 to 993

Please make sure to change ports only if you’ve enabled SSL encryption.

P.S. If you’re getting errors about the mismatched names and possibly insecure certificates, check if you’ve changed your incoming or outgoing servers.
